Male Io Moth (Yellow)
Moth sculpture of a male Io Moth. This moth has yellowish wings with a yellow body.
Its wings, antenna, and legs are made from paper and wire, while its body is covered with 100% merino wool. Each side of the wing is lovingly coloured by hand with artist-grade coloured pencils, then cut and wired for rigidity. The wires in the wings allow each wing to be moved into different positions, exposing the details of the topside or underside of the wing as desired.
The moth is designed with an attachment to allow it to be hung from a wall, or tied onto a frame or object. It can even be clipped onto a branch on your Christmas tree as an ornament!

Care: Treat the moth sculpture like any fine art piece: Keep it away from direct sunlight and liquids. Mount it away from the kitchen and grease. Dust regularly with a feather duster, or gently blow dust away.
