My Favourite Tools & Colouring Supplies for Paper Flower Art

I’ve put together a new guide that lists my favourite tools and colouring supplies for paper flower art.

I’m often asked what type of scissors I like to use to create really fine fringes, or what type of colouring medium do I use to create my pansies. I wrote a pretty comprehensive section on tools and materials in my book, Paper Flower Art, but I know that not everyone can buy my book. Also, I wrote the book back in early 2019 and my workflow has changed somewhat. My flowers are more refined, more detailed, and I couldn’t do it without some of the new tools and colouring mediums I’ve since incorporated into my creative process.

So, I’ve put together a guide of My Favourite Things for Paper Flower Art, and it’s everything you need to know about the tools and colouring supplies that are in my creative practice at the moment. I’m sure it’ll change (as it should) and I’ll continue to update it every couple of years. Here is a list of items that I talk about more in detail:

  • Scissors

  • Glues

  • Wire cutters

  • Stem wires

  • Other tools

  • Pastels

  • Paints

  • Inks

  • Markers

  • Pencils

  • Dyes & Stains

  • Acrylic Mediums

In the meantime, you can download this new guide. You’ll be redirected to a landing page to enter your email before receiving an email with the download link.
